Dear ESP supporters,

This week I'm looking for your help documenting the status of software
patents in South Africa:
http://en.swpat.org/wiki/South_Africa

It's a publicly editable wiki, and here's the type of info we're gathering:

* What patents have been accepted or rejected?
* Are there existing/past anti-swpat campaigns in Australia? (besides FTISA)
* Are there politicians or influential groups that have questioned swpats?
* Are there good examples of harm to South African companies? to competition
  in South Africa?
* What good webpages, blog entries, news articles are there?

Or you can help by telling me who to contact - where can I find large
software user groups? activist groups? good individuals?

Thanks.
